Hawaii!!

We are here in Hawaii. I can't hardly believe it. We really haven't had even spring yet in Wyoming, so this is realy wonderful. We arrived on Monday, June 2nd. Just coming off the plane and feeling the warm moist tropical air felt like heaven. Lynette was there to meet us with real flower leas and then when we got out in the parking lot she said I HAD TO drive the BMW convertible home because she had both cars at the airport. Can you start off a vacation any better then that!

We have been having a wonderful relaxing time. We did most of the tourist things last time, so this time is a lot more laid back. We had to go to a luie which was wonderful and to a magic show which was great. One day we took a drive along the North shore(I think) to get some banana bread. The road was about like the Big Horns were 40 years age or maybe worse. It was narrow, windy though not switchbacks, mostly one lane and right on the edge of the cliffs next to the ocean. Lynette is a good driver so I enjoyed the view and was glad I was not driving. The bread was good, by the way!

My big accomplishment for the trip is the fact that I actualy got in the ocean and went snorkeling! For a person who is not comfortable at all in water(if I can't touch the bottom I panic)this was really big. It took me a few tries before I was able to do, but it was great. We have been twice and plan to go again in the morning. What fun!

New Car

Bruce has been wanting to get a new car for about 6 months now and I have been kind of dragging my feet, not that a new car didn't sound nice but I liked my car and I liked being out of debt. I wasn't sure I wanted to change either. So between him and the car starting not to seem so nice any more(it was needing to be in the shop quite often lately), I finally was willing to consider it. Though I did have several stipulations-1)I wanted another Cruiser which I love and 2)it couldn't be the same color as my boss's(he kept finding blue ones)or anyone else in town and 3)it had to be a pretty color. I figured Bruce could worry about the trivial things like does it run good--is the price right, you know the boring stuff. Anyway. he finally found a great car with everything I wanted and the trivial things, too! Bruce was awesome, he even dickered on the price which he never does and got us a good deal. The only problem is we can't figure out what the color is. It says it is green though it looks grey to me, maybe with a hint of green. What do you think--grey or green?
